burning-tree-1377053I don’t know how many times in my life I have woke up thinking, damn, I just dreamed the same dream I had a year ago, or two years.  When I started noticing these things many years ago I thought what a coincidence.  The more they started happening I stopped thinking it was a coincidence and started thinking there may be something more happening.  The question is what though?

Some people might feel that there is just nothing to it all and it is your mind processing old memories and all that.  There is nothing to alternative realities, no such thing as living a life outside of the one you are living in now.  I think such thinking to be perhaps shortsighted nowadays.  How many people lead rich spiritual lives, lives that are every bit as real as the physical one?  If you can have that then why not a mental life too?

I have had dreams where I have been fighting battles in a war, very much a spiritual war, and woken up with pain and scars fully healed from the wound I took in the dream.  Strange yes?  Absolutely!  I have no explanation to it other than what would be obvious.  That the dream is every bit as real as me sitting here typing this blog.

Have any you readers have anything like this happen to you?  Anybody think the same way?  Leave me some comments and tell me about it.

  1. I get similar dreams. Sometimes one dream is a continuation of the next. It seems to parallel my life when I was younger, but not entirely. Maybe it’s repressed memory or maybe you’re onto something here. I don’t want to explore it further right now though. If it gets too intense, I will. Thank you for such an insightful post.

    1. You’re welcome, It is definitely interesting subject. Sometimes I wonder about past lives if one believes in such things, which I feel it is a possibility. And I can agree that sometimes depending on the dream you have to be in the right frame of mind and in the right place in life to explore it further. The exploration many times opens things up you just aren’t prepared for.

      1. True. It can open up very difficult things that I don’t think I’m equipped to handle right now. I don’t personally believe in past lives but I find the concept of parallel universes very intriguing.
