Voice about me never cease
in the cacophony. Why
can’t they realize that they
obstruct my thoughts so to seize
my muse who is throttled and bashed
by their incessant chatter.
Dragged through the mud to be lashed
to a cross of death. Their laughter
rings in my ears, damn demons,
for which I have no weapons.
